God is not telling us to change a few things about our appearance. God is not asking us to be more religious. God is not asking us to try harder. God is not inviting us to become "nice people" or "good people". Jesus did not die so that you could be a nice person - he died so that he could reproduce millions of people just like him. There is only one goal that is worthy of Christ's death - that we become like him! To follow means to live just like Jesus. 1 John 2:6 “Those who say they live in God should live their lives as Jesus did.”
